Opened inDecember 2018 in the old garages of the municipality in the heart of Val d'Isère.


In an old real garage of about 400 m2, we have kept a raw and industrial aspect quite unheard of in Val d'Isère. A large Restaurant - Brasserie was missing in this world-renowned resort.

Passing the first garage door when the light is green (red means that we will have to be patient until the next day), the pretty glass entrance door welcomes us in this "Refuge for freeriders".

The first impression doesn't deceive, one feels good there, one almost has the impression of having been there before.

On the left, deep benches, where some locals, wrapped in big cushions, enjoy and chat quietly.

On the right, under the mezzanine where a few youngsters from the country work quietly with a hot drink, the little ones fight in the KIDS ZONE to let their parents breathe a little during the vacations.

A team of young casual, lively and full of ideas...

... Selected much more by feeling than experience, a homogeneous team with a staff in the same state of mind!

With 6 cooks and 8 soldiers indoors in winter, the team works 300% every day to welcome you in the best conditions and improve your experience at the Garage..
In winter, we run, we laugh, we stay ourselves...

And it's this slightly informal service that contributes greatly to the garage's warm and family atmosphere..
We're not in a 5-star hotel, and in any case have neither the ability nor the desire to do so, but at the Garage Val d'Isère we do everything to make you feel comfortable, without unnecessary frills and with a lot of smile...

Because of our Savoyard attachment and our concern for quality, including the origin of the products, we strive to work only with fresh products, as much as possible local and, above all, home-made.

Without reinventing the kitchen, working with quality products, we manage to take out more than 600 place settings/day in winter, regular and fast.

Regularity being one of the most important points of a kitchen. Our suppliers, most of whom have become friends, are selected as much as possible for their proximity, their authenticity and their know-how. We work only from raw products, which we cook on the spot to guarantee you an optimal freshness.

... Obviously, on the bar side, no surprises, all the classics are there.
